Uzbekistan international exhebition online

On November 18, the opening ceremony of the international industrial exhibition “EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2020” was held online. The exhibition will be held from November 18 to December 18, 2020. The purpose of the exhibition is to expand and deepen direct cooperation relations between Russia and Uzbekistan, develop economic, investment, scientific, technical and political cooperation.

The exhibition is organized by Zarubezh-Expo JSC jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event is held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Export Center, as well as the Embassy and Trade Mission of Russia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Department of Foreign Relations, the opening ceremony of “EXPO-RUSSIA UZBEKISTAN 2020” was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Sergey Tsyb, representatives of the official and business circles of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The business program of the event provides for thematic round tables on cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in the transport sector, energy, education, high technologies, construction. During the month, the exhibition will include presentations of Russian regions, contact exchanges, B2B meetings.
